From 22 November 2017 to 7 January 2018, led by the Head of Business and Economic Affairs Marion Lemesre, Brussels City Hall is relaunching the fifth “Shop by Light”, a unique opportunity to see the latest illuminations from international designers.
This year, stunning light displays will fill almost a hundred retail areas in the heart of Brussels with the incredible addition of five new districts: Ilot Sacré and its famous Rue des Bouchers, Boulevard Lemonnier and Place Anneessens, Avenue de Stalingrad leading to Place Rouppe, the very trendy Rue de Flandre, and not forgetting the unmissable Rue Haute and Place de la Chapelle.
The latter will be the first site in Brussels to host The Maze, a light installation that young and old can explore from every angle!
The Maze light installation
Comprising 36 8-ft. Perspex panels, The Maze will offer passers-by the opportunity to do something different and swop their routine for an adventure in a 1,075-sq. ft. labyrinth with endless shapes and colours. With its triangular design, multicoloured rays are constantly being reflected and altered with no obvious pattern…
