Unmissable new features at Winter Wonders 2025

You may think you know Winter Wonders inside out… but think again! Thanks to an original and ambitious programme, this year brings a wealth of new experiences. Take a break from your usual habits and let yourself be tempted by these activities to make your Winter Wonders experience even more exceptional.

The Magic of Grand-Place and the Town Hall

Step into the heart of Winter Wonders 2025 and be enchanted by the magic of Grand-Place and the Town Hall, true artistic centres of celebration. This year, under the direction of designer Jean-Paul Lespagnard, the Christmas tree becomes a symbol of solidarity with its recycled decorations that will be auctioned to support the Food Banks.

Support the food banks and make a real difference.

The new nativity scene, imagined by Victoria-Maria and inspired by the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken, brings the Nativity to life with recycled fabrics and life-size rag dolls.

In the courtyard of the Town Hall, Morphosis, an immersive installation by Rocío Álvarez, invites you on a sensorial journey where nature and light join forces. Be sure not to miss the View Tower Experience, a breathtaking 360° ascent above the dazzling lights of Brussels and a spectacular sound-and-light show. Together, these creations offer a new perspective on Brussels’ heritage, creating an unforgettable experience that combines innovation and social engagement. More information at fever.

Winter Wonders’ new venues and routes

Winter Wonders reinvents itself! This year, the winter excursion through Brussels is even bigger with new festive venues, designed to offer greater fluidity, warmth, and discovery along the way. The Christmas market at Vismet, the historic heart of Brussels, has been redesigned to provide more space and better circulation, making the walk between gourmet chalets, craft creations, and light installations even more enjoyable for all. Just a few steps away, Place de la Monnaie takes on a new dimension: it now hosts additional chalets and a monumental installation made from recycled materials, created in collaboration with the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, where passers-by can explore participative workshops combining art and sustainability.

Finally, for the first time, Place Poelaert comes to life with a mini Christmas village offering an exceptional panoramic view. This new space invites visitors to enjoy a gourmet and solidarity-focused break, with a toy collection for sick and disadvantaged children.

Eco-responsible commitment and sustainable actions

A major new sustainability initiative: Winter Wonders reinforces its eco-friendly initiatives by introducing 100% compostable tableware made from sugarcane pulp, with a dedicated on-site collection system. A simple but essential measure to reduce the environmental impact, which is added to other initiatives, such as reusable cups, LED lighting, and the recycling of the main Christmas tree after the festivities.

Come and enjoy this magical adventure packed with surprises and thrills, and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty, sustainability, and collective spirit that make this season truly unforgettable!
