To increase the project’s accessibility and inclusivity for all participants, a dedicated space for children and babies is provided. It is the perfect place for families to take a break, warm up, or feed their children in a sheltered area.
A welcoming and reassuring space
The children’s area includes a reading and quiet play corner to support relaxation and exploration, simple manual activities (drawing, spool knitting, collage, and more) to allow children to create, and board-game activities for all ages to promote social interaction and sharing.
An activity organiser or volunteer will be present to ensure the children’s safety, supervision, and support.
This space is not a childcare service. Parents or guardians must stay in the Knitting Bar.
The baby corner is ideal for changing your baby, breastfeeding in privacy, or warming a bottle in the microwave.
